Limited accessibility
Despite the proliferation of exchanges facilitating fiat to crypto conversions, a substantial portion of the global population still lacks access to crypto and banking services. It's striking to consider that approximately 1.4 billion individuals remain entirely unbanked, while 1.7 billion lack any access to financial or similar institutions. Furthermore, estimates suggest that a meager 5.25% (equivalent to 420 million people) of the world's population are cryptocurrency owners. These figures present an immense opportunity to extend financial services to the unbanked and accelerate the widespread adoption of cryptocurrencies.
